I am a visual artist currently living in Austin, TX.
First Generation German-American, I was born in Little Rock, AR.
My love for the arts began at an early age as a way to cope with feelings of Alienation and daily life struggles.
The concept for Rottenbanana was born early in my artistic career as an attempt to make light of being a struggling artist. Over time, I feel, the term has come to represent the plights and unfairness of all misrepresented or marginalized individuals and creatives.
The famous image of "Andy Warhol's banana", for me, represented an unattainable, elite level status of Artist.
Where as a rotten banana is the "skid row"or leftovers for everyone else.​ The work I create largely caters to my own spiritual growth, broaden my comprehensions diversely and implement them into various areas of my life.

My Goal as a creator is the life-long pursuit of creative mastery with hope to enthuse other artists to do the same.
